At the risk of awakening many of you who are IU fans, I know there were missed calls on both sides during Saturday’s game. However, I have heard many college football commentators that I truly respect. Talk about the perfect timing of the hit on this deep ball. I beg to differ.

Someone told me it’s National Coaches Day today. Thankful for the men in this picture. One who mentored me when I was a young coach a lifetime ago… and the rest who allow me to learn from & grow with them doing what we love. Happy National Coaches Day to all of the coaches!
Sitting by my pool, realizing I am now one week into year 31 in my career as an educator. The number 31 has had tremendous significance in my life for a long time. I wouldn’t say it’s my lucky number, it’s just been my number. Could use some luck this year. Big decisions ahead!
