As a former bad kid who was left out of many celebrations for my misbehavior I think a lot of adults are trying to cope for their experiences in childhood because yeah it sucked but I did try not to misbehave and miss the next celebration.

We had a guest coach at the summer camp once. He asked the kids, "Yall ready to have some fun?" Two boys yell out, "NO!" To this man's face. I pull them out and sit them on the side.
One of the parents asks why her son didn't get to participate in the fun. Girl gtf out my face!
I remember in Kindergarten, I punched this kid across the room and got banned from participating in the school wide Halloween Bazaar. I had to sit in the punish room with the bad kids while the rest of the school was out in the yard having a blast
never acted up like that again.
