Not the same rock, but I may have found the exact canyon Charmander is sitting in. This is Antelope Canyon in Arizona just south of Lake Powell. So if you want to catch a wild Charmander it could be worth checking out!

This may be the most beautiful one yet. I may have found the exact field of flowers Beedrill is flying over!

Yes, this growth is definitely sustainable and healthy for the hobby.

Pokémon thought they were slick! The exact same photo was used for the background of Brock’s Lickitung and Marley’s Request. All they did was change the color a bit and add more pixels. This is probably the coolest thing I have found.

Probably the most expensive card to use stock photography as the background. This is the Family Event Kangaskhan. A prize card from the 1998 Parent-Child Mega Battle tournament. Fewer than 100 copies exist.

Would absolutely love more “bulk” cards like this. The Smeargle from Super Burst Impact (Japanese Lost Thunder) references a painting called “A Composition with Red Blue and Yellow” by Piet Mondrian. Simple cards can be just as cool as Alt Arts.

An iconic Pokémon mixed with one of the most recognizable paintings in the world. The Psyduck Munch Promo. Created to commemorate the Munch: A Retrospective exhibition in the Tokyo Metropolitan Art Museum It is an absolute masterpiece and one of the coolest collaborations in the hobby. Would love to see more like this. Maybe one with Picasso?

Domino’s Pizza promo cards!? Back in 2009 you could receive these cards with a purchase of a Pokémon themed children’s meal. It helped introduce kids to the mechanics of the tcg. Today, less than 1,000 graded copies of each exist.

Did you know about this? Jasmine’s Gaze SIR from Surging Sparks is a recreation from HeartGold and SoulSilver. When you had to find Jasmine at the Olivine Café for a rematch.

It seems many people know the Paldean Wooper IR takes place in Scarlet and Violet. But if you are looking for another card from a game, take a look at the Machamp V Alt Art! It’s from a town called Stow-on-Side from Sword and Shield!

Our first legendary has been found! Could this be the exact location Rayquaza is flying around!?

I know what some of you are going to say “bro just found some trees” but hear me out… The two more prominent trees on the sides. The angle of the sun’s rays. The tall narrow trees with no branches. Looks almost exactly like the place Ferrothron was hanging around.

Same card, different format. The Mewtwo Gameboy promo from 2001. Both could be found in a copy of Pokémon Card GB2: GR Dan Sanjou! The sequel to the original Pokemon Trading Card Game for Gameboy!

Wait, so Future Mew isn’t even from the future!? This Mew Trainer card is from 2005 and also shows Mew surrounded by floating energies. A card I’m not sure I’ve ever seen in person. Are we getting to the point where Mew cards are just as difficult to collect as Pikachu?
Coach Munch
@CoachMunch_Oct 8
Probably one of the coolest Mew cards that isn’t even a Mew card. This Design Contest Zoroark just had to feature Mew to make Mew collecting that much more difficult. Only 100-200 copies of it exist with all sorts of collectors trying to get it.

And then there’s the Pikachu Stamp Box Promo. The original print the stamp is based on is called “Beauty Looking Back”. Dating all the way back to the late 17th century. One of my top chases.

This is the absolute best cameo. 😂 Why are Blastoise and Electabuzz standing back there like an npc emoji?

I love cards like this. Where it takes a second glance to notice something. Check out this subtle Slowbro cameo!

This is probably the coolest Charizard card that nobody ever talks about. The original illustration was created for the cover of Pokémon Card Game Art Collection book. The book/promo was part of Pokémon’s 20th anniversary celebration Seriously, just look at how awesome that card is!

It’s such a shame 30th Celebration is so hard to find. The ripping experience is awesome! Two SIRs from only 20 packs is insane!
