No offense to the NBA and their decision to go with more former players. I’m sure younger fans (who probably only watch tik tok highlights - Lol) will like their perspective.
I would rather hear the Van Gundy Fratello and Hubie Brown former coach types.

Stay Away from “None or One” Offense.
None or One Pass = None or One Other Player Gets to Touch the Ball = None or One Action that the Defense has to Guard = None or One Defensive Effort needs to be Given.
Even the Most Talented Teams can’t be great with “None or One Offense”.
All great players. For sure.

I get that it’s only her 3rd year, but once this league and the media starts to recognize this…i will take it seriously.

My Dad always said…”a snake is a snake. Now you can also try and make him a good snake. But understand, he’s still a snake.”
So don’t be surprised when you recruit a Snake and he bites you in the ass. Lol.
In other words, the eval, recruitment and signing is the essential part of building that “Culture” all these coaches are talking about.
It’s never as bad as you think…and never as good. We got some work to do, but all things that we can control and get better at. Looking forward to tomorrow’s practice.
I’m all for 2022 kids getting their 5th year back.
I’m not for guys that turned pro and found out they weren’t good enough to make it (big) so they went back to cbb.
I’m not for coaches that are taking former turned pro players that might not have made it.
If you are going to college, you are going to get an education AND play basketball.
If that’s not the case, just go play basketball and/or get a job.
Don’t prostitute college athletics.

Colorado allows there HS Coaches to Coach Fall League.
Michigan does not allow HS Coaches to Coach Fall League.
Does Michigan want their HS Players to get better and have a better chance to earn scholarships?
“I gotta be selfish” or “he/she’s gotta be selfish” is just a stupid thing to say. Why say it? Why say “I’m gonna do what’s best for me”.
That’s not why we are on this earth people. Don’t promote it.
Just do the right thing. The best thing. I would think it’s a much better way to live your life.
Formula for Success:
1. Get and/or Develop Great Players (helps if they are good people).
2. Get them to Defend, Rebound and Make Good decisions.
Now that is a Great #Culture
