The fact that this administration has used Rockin’ in the Free World, Fortunate Son, & Born in the USA for their cult meetings, oops, political rallies, is a perfect example of irony. What a tone deaf group of individuals who obviously know nothing about music or U.S.History.
Neil Young has filed a $10 million lawsuit against Donald Trump, alleging copyright infringement over the ongoing use of Young’s song “Rockin’ in the Free World” as the president’s walk-up music at midterm election rallies.
The suit says the classic 1989 song is “a blistering anthem that contrasts the hollow promises of American political rhetoric with the harsh realities faced by the poor, homeless and forgotten. The lyrics pain vivid street-level portraits — a mother discarding her baby, addicts lost in despair, garbage piling in the shadows of prosperity — while the repeated chorus delivers a savage irony, celebrating freedom that clearly isn’t shared by all. In short, the song is the opposite of everything that Donald J. Trump stands for.”

She’s spot on! Said it before, but, ALL children in the U.S. should get free lunch. They are required by law to attend school, they should be given lunch for free. Other countries do it & with a higher quality of good. Anyone who disagrees is selfish & ignorant. Let the kids eat.

Would love for someone to intelligently explain how people who think there was voter fraud causing Trump to lose the 2020 election don’t have an issue with, or question, the results of any other political race from that same election cycle.
How do you know I’m not out there with them? How do you know I haven’t gone through 6 muzzles? How do you know I don’t have charcoal & peroxide on hand & follow my vet’s advice? You don’t. As much as I like & appreciate you, I don’t appreciate the assumptions & judgement.

In light of Little Gordon battling another, and much more serious, bout of acorn poisoning I feel sharing this again is appropriate and important.
Happy 4th Gotcha Day + a tiny #TOT to Little Gordon Beagle! Currently recuperating f/ acorn poisoning after a life full of trauma. Randomly aggressive, always stinky, can’t be picked up, full of issues, but immeasurably loved. Saved by @RescueCoop which saved me, too.4️⃣🥳👁️🐶💝🎂

Update: Little Gordon has regained control of his back legs, bowels & bladder. He is still sick & not out of the woods but there is improvement & a slight resurgence of appetite. Kidney damage is a concern. I have seen all your messages of support & appreciate it very much.🙏❤️🩹🤞
