& it’s wild to me PHX won’t move on after pairing him with guys & it failed. Book would be a great #2 option somewhere. Pressure would be off & his ability to get his would flourish with someone else having a team’s best defender.

DBook might have the crown for most empty calories basketball in the league now. Just “cool” pullups and vibes A star that can’t be A1 because his best traits don’f affect winning enough. Problem is A1 guys are extremely rare so you are stuck with him miscast as one.

Love LaMelo dawg, I know the league rules too… while we’re here, him & Ant gone terrorize the A. but “ball up top man, ain’t no way” iykyk. 😂

One thing I’ve learned about toughness as a coach? You can’t give it to your players. They have to earn it. Cori Close nailed it. 🔥 “You don’t just become tough. You earn tough.” Worth 90 seconds of your time.

I’ll forever preach catch & shoot being the most valuable thing you can do if you’re not those 1/2 of THE GUYS. Teammates, coaches will always find opportunities or acknowledge those guys!

Talked to Giannis Antetokounmpo today about Toronto not leaving Klay Thompson on Saturday night: “It’s weird. Usually I have guys on me and they will try to build a wall.” “But they weren’t leaving Klay…He wasn’t open.” More on the 4-on-4 offense that is created:
