Abdou Toure raw scouting notes 📝 An S-Tier athlete and the best vertical wing in the class. Toure meshes power and finesse at the rim. He has a smooth stroke from outside where he gets real elevation on the jumper both from mid-range and three. Getting downhill he has quick first-step burst and is an active cutter who'll feast off stampede and Butler cuts. His playmaking leans more reactive rather than manipulative. Defensively he has great timing and extension to generate on-ball blocks and can really get up coming over from the weakside(6 total vs Inglewood). He isnt always super aggressive on ball, taking a ballhandler's space or navigating ball-screen coverages but was more aggressive at Hoop Summit. Toure has real two-way upside and could thrive in a VJ Edgecombe type of role filling in the gaps during his freshman season at Arkansas.
