Love this. We tell our guys constantly to keep count of makes in shooting drills, give praise when teammates do their job right, and correct when someone does something incorrectly.
QUIET GYMS ARE LOSING GYMS
"When you see a teammate do something that is really good, tell him.
If you see something he can do better, build him up and help him with that." (Jon Scheyer)

Heard a great quote today from James Clearโs book, Atomic Habits.
โIt doesnโt make sense to continue wanting something if you are not willing to do what it takes to get it. To crave the result, but not the process, is to guarantee disappointment.โ
Hoopers listen!!!!!
Still learning from my mentor everyday! Milton High Basketball will be at another level next year. So excited for our guys. @CoachA523

A great high school coach isnโt just teaching basketball.
Theyโre teaching accountability.
Theyโre shaping character.
Theyโre preparing kids for life after the final whistle.

Behind every state championship banner is a group of kids who learned that mediocrity doesnโt cut it, accountability is earned, and success is shared. Winning is just the byproduct.

Basketball is the best game in the world because you get what you earn!
Being bigger, faster, and stronger doesnโt win games. Talent is less than half of the equation. The toughest team always wins. The most connected, the most disciplined, and the team with the most grit cuts down nets in March.
Weโve been preaching shot selection to our guys lately and we took a huge step in the right direction last week in a preseason game win
Took 16 3โs that we consider to be good shots @ 56%
Took 8 3โs that we consider to be bad shots @ 38%
Won by 25 because of their buy in!

Greatness isn't given or taken.
It's earned or lost by your mindset, actions, and systems.

An amazing job by our boys this year.

God has bestowed yet another blessing on me and my family and team. So wonderful to have my wife, kids, mother and mother n law there supporting. Thanks to everyone who showed up and showed out tonight! We couldn't have done it without you. A district championship. 36-35 win over South Walton and down 11 to start the 4th quarter. Proud coach is an understatement. ๐๐๐๐๐๐ฏ๐ฏ๐๐

Amazing quote here and extremely true
