Morgan State University has been selected as one of only 10 institutions nationwide to receive a five-year, $10 million federal grant to establish The Institute for Trusted Autonomous Networks (TITAN).
The initiative will expand cutting-edge research, strengthen doctoral education, and create new career pathways for students, while advancing Morgan’s momentum toward Carnegie R1 classification.

🚨 RECRUITING UPDATE 🚨
A lot of college coaches are focused on:
➡️ Transfer portal athletes (or top seniors)
➡️ 2027 class
The 2026 class?
It’s all over the place right now.
• Many coaches don’t know what they need yet — because they don’t know who’s staying or leaving.
• If you get an offer right now as a 2026, it means you’re viewed as a true IMPACT PLAYER.
• “We aren’t sure what we need in 2026 because it depends on who we get out of the portal & how much eligibility they have left.”
This is NOT every school, but it’s a trend I’m seeing.
Be so good they can’t tell you no!

It’s like volleyball is a snow globe, and twice a year the NCAA picks it up, gives it a good shake, then walks away.

Becky Hammon said, “Being resilient is both a character trait and a learned skill.”
“The tough part is - you only develop it by going through hard stuff.”
Everyone wants to be resilient.
But no one wants to go through the process of what builds it.

Best advice Steve Kerr received on culture:
“If you come in here with genuine, real values and then you make them come alive, that’s when the culture starts to form.”
Your culture is the living conscience for the team.
Everyone contributes to the culture.
