Most RBs are told where to run…
But not how to see the run.
I was fortunate to be selected for a month-long internship with the Jets and soaked up as much as I could.
Things I learned:
It comes down to 4 things:
Ball Security
Communication
Eyes / Track
Protection

0.1% of people know anything about Offensive Line Play.
Don't waste your time arguing with the other 99.9% of people.
But, when the 0.1% speaks... listen & learn.

Parents, your son's head coach gets calls from college coaches during the season
When that call comes, the college coach is not asking about stats
He is asking what kind of kid your son is. How he handles adversity. Whether the team respects him. If he shows up every day or just on game nights.
That phone call can open a door or close one
