Absolutely buzzing to say I passed my level 2 assessment today! Massive thanks to Alex Watson & @Martin_Dighton #GreatCourse

Almost like first day nerves back to work tomorrow!! Been a weird/strange/amazing 16 weeks or so but I can’t wait to get back to it tomorrow 😊

Of course, when I say amazing, that is very much personally. A lot has changed in my life over the last 4 months that I don’t think would’ve normally. I totally understand how tough it’s been for most, but I’d consider myself lucky and I’m lost grateful for that.

I love the analysis in cricket. Opinions/analysis based on stats/videos and evidence. Then explained so well someone who dosent know too much about the detail in cricket can understand. So much better than most football anlysis/pundits on TV - especially at half time.
Finished this off this evening. A free online course - would recommend to anyone working in sport, but also valuable if you’re not too. Look out for each other and talk 👍🏻 #BreakTheStigma
Feel for Brighton (Potter) here. Think they’ve moved the ball around really well. Two individual mistakes in possesion have cost them, but I think this side under Potter will be close to breaking into the top 10 next season.
I love Facebook coaching groups!

Lovely little 10k down to the beach today. Started reading this too. Looking forward to carrying it on 📖

Is it just me or do you want to see decent analysis of the game at half time? Details of what’s happened & why, analysis of tactical battles & what could/should change in second half. Roy Keane’s views are just boring in my opinion.
So pleased I reflected on last week. Wrote down a few things that I wanted to change and have began to implement them today. Also started a “What will tomorrow look like?” In my notes. A few things that I want to achieve on that day. Power of planning/reflection is so important.

Proud of myself this week. Set out a plan at the start of the week to track all calorie intake & to exercise more - aiming for walking 250 miles this month. Few things I can do better so time to reflect & review and improve - carrying on tomorrow 💪🏻💪🏻
I also don’t know who needs to see this - but I did. Maybe it will help someone somewhere... #Simplicity

I ask myself the “Fault vs Responsibility” question from @mrjakehumphrey every day. My favourite part of THPP. One of the main things that has completely changed my way of thinking & life over the last month. Can’t wait for the pod to be back.

Always take for granted some of the places close to home. Nothing more pleasant that sat in some of those spots with a decent book. Just the one chapter left after - let me know if anyone fancies a read of it when I’m done 👍🏻
Can anyone tell me why coaches are in such a rush to get back? I’m not in GR football at the minute, but not sure I’d be rushing back if I was. Anyone in the position?
Wondering how the latest government guidance affects grassroots football? 🤔 Read what outdoor football activity is now permitted:

Done this course online this afternoon. Took me about 20 minutes to complete and get a certificate for. A couple of points in there where I would’ve done the total opposite. What a way to spend 20 minutes to potentially save a lifetime.
Spent a large portion of lockdown out walking. Have defo caught the podcast bug. This was today’s effort & was joined by @mrjakehumphrey’s High Performance pod. Done Poch, Tracey Neville & Robin Van Persie. All superb listens.

Second was RVP. What a podcast. You could listen to this guy forever. His self awareness is amazing. Really enjoyed his story about Wenger when he used to speak, and the ones about his children developing - especially his son. A MUST listen.

Then lastly I listened to Tracey Neville. A slightly different sport but loved it too. The journey she had been on and created was superb. Loved the 5 minute game - a clear way/idea of building strong mentality and instilling drive in players.
