This John Smith preseason speech should be required viewing for all wrestlers and coaches. There's a reason he's one of the best to ever do it.
Sad to see the Dynasty coming to an end. It will never be replicated. Kids are so different now than they were in the 90s and 00s. A program like that can’t exist anymore.

The PIAA Wrestling Steering Committee has proposed significant changes to Class AA regional alignments beginning with the 2026–27 season.
We wanted to break down exactly what is changing. In this eight-slide explainer, you'll see:
• The purpose of the proposal
• How regional balance changes statewide
• A side-by-side comparison of all four proposed regions
• What happens next in the approval process
Which district or region do you think is impacted the most—and why?

🚨 Big news for District 11 wrestling…
The PIAA (driven by the wrestling steering committee) approved new postseason allocations today.
District 11 (Regional Qualifiers)
• Girls: 3 ➜ 5
• AA Boys: 4 ➜ 5
• AAA Boys: 5 ➜ 7
District 11 has long been one of Pennsylvania’s deepest wrestling districts. These increases- especially AAA moving to seven qualifiers and girls growing exponentially- should give more deserving wrestlers the opportunity to continue their postseason run.
A change many have been waiting to see! 👏🏼

This was always the possibility, that if PA actually started giving a crap about Fargo and Duals in a real, organized, systematic way they would completely obliterate everyone
Pennsylvania won its eighth-straight 16U Boys freestyle title at the 2026 @USMarineCorps Junior Nationals behind a record 352 points and 28 All-Americans. Alex Marchetti earned Outstanding Wrestler honors for the tournament. #Fargo2026 #USAWrestling go.themat.com/urtdu

Pennsylvania set a new record for All-Americans in a year at the 16U Boys Freestyle division with 28, seven more than the previous record of 21. The 352 team points outdistanced PA's previous record of 273 (set in 2021). It's the state's 7th straight 16U Boys FS title #Fargo2026

Kids today will never know the joy of having to go in the hallway to look at brackets on the wall to see who you wrestled next.
