💯 between early singing period and National Signing day when the portal closes there will be a mad rush to fill spots on the board.
December 2026 through early February 2027 could create one of the best late recruiting opportunities.

Sam Mills 🏈
5'9". Undrafted. Cut by the Browns. Cut by the Argonauts. Told he was too small for the NFL.
Then came the USFL, two championships, and a 12-year NFL career: 5 Pro Bowls, 20.5 sacks, 11 interceptions, and First-Team All-Pro at 37.
He was the heart of the Saints' Dome Patrol, then an original Carolina Panther.
But his legacy isn't a stat line. It's two words.
Diagnosed with cancer in 2003 and given three months to live, Mills told the Panthers before their playoff game against Dallas: "When I found out I had cancer, there were two things I could do: quit or keep pounding. I'm a fighter. I kept pounding."
Keep Pounding is inside the collar of every Panthers jersey. It's the drumbeat before every home game.

🚨 RECRUITING TIP
2027s: Your time is winding down.
If you’re still waiting for recruiting to “pick up,” you need to be intentional NOW.
Update your film.
Follow up with coaches.
Know your Level of Play.
Target programs that actually fit.
Stop wasting weeks contacting the wrong schools.
2028s: You still have time to be on track — but you need to start now.
The athletes who enter spring with updated film, verified information, a target-school list and coach relationships already started will be in a much better position than the ones who wait until camp season.
2027 = urgency.
2028 = preparation.
Recruiting rewards athletes who act before they’re desperate. 🎯
