Never expected it to repeat itself, but when it did, we had to try and recreate the pic😊 My role player champs who I love SO much, got a little more involved this weekend to make sure they could recreate this pic🥇 Did I mention I’m a proud Dad of my role player champs😍
So this will be different… My kids don’t start for any of my teams. Probably play least amount of minutes. But they are true TEAM players and only care about 1 thing…helping their team be the best they can be. So I’m a proud Dad taking a pic with my role player champs🥇😍

This clip is like the circle of life…but basketball🏀 Refs don’t call traveling every time on changing pivot foot in youth because you’d be there all night for 1 game😱 Then in HS if footwork looks weird, even if it’s legal, it’s probably getting called a travel🫣 Then the circle of basketball finishes up in the NBA with refs once again not calling traveling every time on changing pivot feet (or at all🤨)

As I watched the Cowboys waste 18 seconds at the end of the half instead of taking a timeout, I’ll respectfully say it again… Football coaches could really benefit from sitting down with basketball coaches and discussing late game time management💯

We are saddened to report that long-time Laurel coach George Miles passed away on Friday. Coach Miles amassed 201 wins from 1972 to 2003, and remained on the football staff as an assistant until his passing. He also served as the head track coach from 1972 to 2019. One of the coaching legends of Lawrence County and Western PA. 📸 @NCNewsSports

Was in trainings, so didn’t see this live. But like the example I gave in the thread🎯 Higher probability of winning by maintaining possession to kick FG with no time left, rather than scoring to go up 7 with a minute left
If you understand the connection I’m making here, there’s a good chance we might be best friends, because probably no one will, but I’ll say it anyway… Steelers could’ve taken the points from the made FG and led 19-10 with less than a minute left. VERY high win probability, probably 99.9%, but no win guaranteed. Instead they accepted the penalty, which 100% guaranteed the win. Sometimes getting more points isn’t always the best late game decision🏈🏀🤔 #TimeAndScore

So you wanna be a college coach…
In 2013 Jason Eck was changing the oil on lawnmowers and golf carts. He was a Division I offensive line coach. Western Illinois had fired the head coach, and rather than pay out what it owed the assistants, the school kept them on payroll and sent them to work other jobs on campus. Eck got the golf course. Then they moved him to a cubicle at the public transit center in Macomb, Illinois. Here is how he describes it. "I got transferred to the guy who ran the bookstore and the campus bus system." Saturday night his New Mexico team is 5 and 1 with the best scoring defense in the country. He has five kids. Here is what he says about those years. "We've been in bad debt, bad financial shape. I've got five kids so it was nuts." The man who ran that bookstore and bus system, Jude Kiah, is the one who talked him out of quitting. Kiah asked him whether he really wanted to walk away from everything he had put in. Eck started hunting jobs instead. By that July he was the offensive coordinator at Minnesota State. He walked on at Wisconsin as an offensive lineman. He thought about law school and never took the test. After the Rose Bowl he asked to coach instead. His own dad coached college basketball. Toledo fired Jay Eck in 1991, less than a week after a one point loss with an NCAA tournament bid on it. Jason took job after job after that. His wife Kimberly found out he had lost the Ball State job while she was going into labor with their third son. Then South Dakota State, where John Stiegelmeier told him he would make a really good head coach. Idaho hired him in December of 2021 and he went 26 and 13 there. New Mexico hired him two years ago. Last season the Lobos won nine games, beat UCLA, made their first bowl since 2016 and sold out a home game for the first time since 2007. He was Mountain West coach of the year. And one of his linebackers is his son. Jaxton Eck came out of Brookings, South Dakota with offers from Sioux Falls and Northern State. Division II. He played for his dad at Idaho, and when his dad took the New Mexico job he had North Carolina State, Michigan State and Stanford asking for him. He went to New Mexico. Last season he had 115 tackles and shared Mountain West defensive player of the year. Father and son won conference awards in the same season. Now the part that complicates it. One good year is not a program. New Mexico has been bad for most of the last fifty years, and the hard truth about coaches who win there is that somebody bigger calls. But here is what Jason Eck says now. He does not know whether he would ever have become a head coach if his son had not played football. Thirteen years ago he was changing oil on a lawnmower. What were you doing right before the job that changed everything for you?

Aaron Rodgers sat at that podium in Paris and said out loud what the corporate league office spends millions trying to sanitize. The NFL talks endlessly about “player safety” and “expanding the global game.” But behind closed doors, owners scrapped player-friendly bye weeks, forced a brutal 17th regular-season game, and shipped franchises across oceans simply because there was another dollar to squeeze out of foreign TV markets. While families and players navigate locked-down streets, civil tension, and grueling travel schedules, ownership sits in five-star suites counting international expansion checks. Rodgers doesn't care about league fines anymore. He’s telling you the truth: in the modern NFL, the brand and the balance sheet come first. The humans on the field come second.

McCarthy has taken the Steelers back to pre-Roethlisberger retirement. Being able to beat teams they’re supposed to and having an offense capable enough to win or ice games. How far back will depend on what happens come playoff time…

Would be the @Saints leading rusher with that one play 😂
I’ve seen a lot of embarrasisng things from this Saints team, but letting 71 year old Aaron Rodgers ice the game with his legs is just ridiculous.
