鈥淒elighted and incredibly proud to have officially been awarded my UEFA B Coaching Licence! 鈿斤笍馃摌
The journey has been challenging, but the learning and growth have been entirely worth it. A massive thank you to my brother and friend @collindavidmortleybsya for his support and encouragement and the fantastic group of coaches I met on the course.
I also couldn鈥檛 have done it without the support of @michaelwilliamrice @arcollins__ and @jwsportsmanagement for providing the right platform to execute my coaching abilities.
The UEFA B journey started 2023 with block 1 and 2024 with Block 2.
Excited for the next chapter in my coaching journey and putting all this into practice.
Let鈥檚 keep pushing!
Massive congratulations 馃帀

Imagine. I was even surprised that Ref didn't book more Madrid Players, because Jose hardly play crucial matches, especially versus Barca with 11 men. Even Barca Players were shocked the Ref wasn't using his whistle against Madrid Players unfairly.
One of my coaching calling is to leave a Legacy in NPFL.
When that time comes
The PROACTIVE PROTAGONIST SPECIALIST will set the NPFL on fire 馃敟

They鈥檙e all winners, but what makes 4 of them different is how they win.
HERE IS WHY MOURINHO IS THE PUREST FOOTBALL GENIUS AND THE ONLY BUILDER AMONG THEM.
When a coach takes over a club, I look at their past 3 seasons, but I pay closer attention to the final 2. That gives me a clear picture of the club's state before they arrived.
This is why I don鈥檛 rate Pep. Every team he has coached was already dominating their league and Europe before he walked in. At Barca, they won the UCL a season before he arrived. At Bayern, they were the best team in Europe, he actually dismantled that squad and they never reached that level again until he left. He failed there. At Man City, they won 3 league titles in 5 years, finished 2nd and 4th, and reached a UCL semifinal right before he arrived. When Pep got there, he won 3 titles in his first 5 years but couldn't get past the UCL quarterfinals in that same span.
Mourinho is completely different. He consistently overperformed and elevated every club above the standard he met. That鈥檚 why he won trophies at clubs that hadn't tasted success in 17, 20, 45, and 50 years.
Let鈥檚 start with Porto. Mourinho arrived at a team that had gone 2 seasons without a league trophy. They had qualified for the UEL instead of the UCL because they finished 5th (their first time out of the top spots in a decade). Mourinho started rebuilding, and Porto won the UEL in his first full season, followed by the UCL the next year, ending a 17 year wait for the club. No manager in football history has ever done that. To put it in context, it鈥檚 like Aston Villa winning the UCL this season.
Then he moved to Chelsea. He walked into a club undergoing a massive structural transformation in a league dominated by Man Utd and Arsenal. Chelsea went trophyless the season before his arrival, though they did finish 2nd behind Arsenal's Invincibles. In his very first season, Mourinho won the EPL in style, Chelsea's first league title in 50 years, while setting records for the fewest goals conceded and 25 clean sheets in a single season (both records still stand today). He followed that up by winning the EPL back to back.
At Inter, the club had domestic dominance but persistent European underachievements. In the 2 seasons before Mourinho arrived, they were knocked out in the Round of 16 back to back by Valencia and Liverpool. In Mourinho's first season, they were eliminated by Man Utd in the Round of 16. The very next season? He won the UCL, ending a 45 year wait for the club.
At Real Madrid, Mourinho arrived when the club couldn鈥檛 get past the Round of 16 for 7 straight years, even after signing Cristiano Ronaldo, Kaka, and Benzema. Mourinho stepped in and immediately led them to 3 consecutive UCL semifinals. He shattered Pep鈥檚 Barca dominance by winning La Liga with a record 100 points and a record 121 goals, alongside a Copa del Rey, their first in 20 years.
When he came back to Chelsea, he set records by staying top of the table from day one to the last day to win another EPL. At Man Utd, who had qualified for the UEL before he arrived, he won the UEL (something Ferguson failed to do in 4 attempts), added 2 more trophies, and became their most successful manager of the post-Ferguson era. At Spurs, he kept them at the top of the table for 4 months, their longest run in 10 years. And at Roma, he won their first ever European trophy with a negative net spend (they qualified for the UECL before he arrived), then took them to the UEL final the next season.
Xavi鈥檚 La Liga-winning Barca and Arteta鈥檚 Arsenal, both with much bigger spending budgets, played in that same UEL edition and couldn鈥檛 even reach the final but Mourinho did with Roma.

Another tactical concept that was very evident was the concept of OVERLOAD TO ISOLATE.
Because of how Barcelona concept of pressing which is to suffocate you with multiple players. It was easy for them to commit players to one side of the pitch.
Real Madrid was very clever with the idea of switching the play from crowded areas to isolated areas.
And because Lamine Yamal is terrible in defending, his area of the pitch was very vulnerable for exploitation.
The GREATEST
Way before Ballon D鈥檕r became a reward for being a gentle or good boy to FIFA.
The clearest and undoubtedly the greatest season a football player has had.
HE WAS MILES ABOVE EVERYBODY IN THE WORLD 馃悙
He moved to Madrid and had to start adapting to a new league and system, settled and still won four more in Spain. THE GREATEST 鉂わ笍

That's what makes Jose Mourinho special. He thrives as an underdog. Even if he's coaching a relegated team, he will always leave his mark on the pitch. It's great that he's back to the top where he truly belongs.

Legendary 馃悙
I鈥檓 actually obsessed with it.
Because I was emotional invested in it.
I had a sleepless night trying to figure out the line up, how to curtailed Barcelona in midfield and most importantly, not to lose.
And each time I watch the game again, I appreciate it more the masterpiece of Jose Mourinho
