My sweet wife passed away from her battle with cancer today. Iād appreciate any extra prayers/thoughts if youāre able to send them my familyās way.
Why has @YouTube ruined my app experience. I want to see my subs videos and only videos, and sort by unwatched. Now itās one messy feed of garbage.
Can I go back YouTube?
BYU did this once years ago and got hit with an āintent to deceiveā penalty lol

I feel terrible for Texas.
Forced against their will to move to the SEC, only to be sitting at 2-2 right now.
They could have stayed in the Big 12 and been 1-3 instead.
NEW: Texas head coach Steve Sarkisian says the SEC is cannibalizing itself with a nine-game conference scheduleš
"Any way you slice it, itās eight more losses. So if you are fortunate enough to be part of that discussion from the committee, how much is the committee going to value one more conference game in the SEC, right?"
He added: "To some degree we put the cart before the horse."

My friend just sent me this pic from Six Flags Magic Mountain⦠that is indeed ArieForce One track on those flat beds. Wow
āGrowing up, it was always God, family, and baseball. There were a lot of late nights practicing, a lot of traveling, and sometimes it was hard to get to church. But my parents helped me build a foundation on a testimony of the gospel of Jesus Christ.
āI always had a testimony, but I hadnāt read the Book of Mormon all the way through. I believed what my parents told me. Theyāre really smart, and their testimonies are strong. Then I got drafted, and I thought, āAll right, I probably need to read this for myself.ā
āOne of the guys I was drafted with shared my faith. We became roommates and studied the scriptures together. As I read, I received personal revelation. Thatās when my testimony really became stronger. I could see Heavenly Fatherās hand in putting someone like that in my life.
āReading helped me strengthen my testimony, and living what I believed gave me more opportunities to recognize His hand.
āMy mom had talked to me about tithing before I even had a job. She told me about the blessings sheād seen and encouraged me to pay it. So I did. As Iāve kept that commitment, Iāve learned that the blessings can be physical, too. For me, being able to play baseball at my best is a blessing I connect directly to paying my tithing.
āPlaying at an elite level still has its ups and downs. After a good year, I had a rough year. Sometimes youāre asking Heavenly Father, āPlease help me,ā and you forget how much Heās already helped. Looking back helped me recognize the opportunities and blessings He had already given me.
āThat same commitment to living my faith carries into how I take care of myself. Living the Word of Wisdom is a choice I made early. Iāve never wanted to drink or smoke. In high school, I watched people try vaping, get addicted, and struggle to stop. I didnāt want to find myself in that situation, and Iām grateful I made that decision before I ever started playing professionally.
āSo when we were celebrating with the team and there wasnāt any sparkling cider, I opened the fridge, saw some Fanta in glass bottles, and grabbed a couple. I didnāt even want to hold alcohol because I didnāt want to give the impression I was drinking it. Then everybody started sending me pictures of their Fanta.
āReading the Book of Mormon, paying my tithing, and living the Word of Wisdom are commitments I carry with me. As Iāve lived them, the foundation my parents helped me build in the gospel of Jesus Christ has become stronger through my own experiences.
āHeavenly Father has really shown His hand in my life.ā

Epic not having a big cannibalization effect is the big story here. Really good look for Universalās expansion strategy.

These excuses fall pretty flat when you recognize heās using the grind of a schedule he hasnāt even played yet as explanation for why heās 2-2.
Lane Kiffin continues to make a strong case against the SEC's move to nine conference games.
More losses, more beat-up teams and less roster depth in the transfer portal era.
His biggest point? SEC teams are being punished in the rankings for playing tougher schedules.
Hard to argue with him on this one.

BYU is a 7.5-point favorite on the road at UCF this weekend. I'm taking the Cougars because, well, they are just the better team.
Do you believe BYU is legit a top-five team nationally?

Iāve been completely silent on the PI no call, but I am SHOCKED at how it being DPI is universally accepted when the only contact Evan had with the receiver when the ball was ever in the vicinity was the receiver grabbing him. Great no call and even better coverage
I really liked @KirkHerbstreit ās comments here on both BYU and the potential expanded playoff. Joey is a little stubborn on all fronts, but Kirk seems genuinely hopeful- or at least wants to be about our Cougs and the future of football.
What a weekend of college football. Auburn stunned No. 1 Georgia, BYU took down Notre Dame in Provo, and Tennessee knocked off Alabama in a wild weekend of upsets.
@Joey_Galloway and I will break it all down, react to a completely reshuffled Top 25, and look ahead to another loaded weekend. What stood out most to you? š
