Think it’s time to put the right footers on the right wing and the left footers on the left wing
Surely, and regardless of Party, it shouldn't be allowed that a new PM can be someone who didn't even stand at the last election. They have no mandate to be PM and should call an immediate General Election or the Party should stick with the guy they elected 2 years ago #bbcnews
Clueless referee! Christina on ITV is shocking not a clue, we have had 3 sent off in a game without 1 tackle!! #MEXRSA

If I’m paying 5 employees £12.71 ph and have to increase to £15 I have to find an extra £29k+ a year (if you include NI and NEST etc based on 40hrs per week) does anyone think a business like a coffee shop can magic up an extra £29k + a year without putting up prices?
Don't attend the games playing in front of empty lifeless stadiums is the only way to change this. If people complain and then still go, you are then part of the problem!!
"Which side are you on?" The England fan who emailed the FA hierarchy protesting about World Cup ticket prices, and got plenty of coverage in the media and support from other fans, has challenged the FA again. He’s a long-standing England Supporters Travel Club member and his email reflects views of many angry England fans. It reads....
“Nearly 48hrs on from my email, and nearly 5 days on from the fan-mocking pricing being released, we are yet to hear from you. During that period of continued silence, the outrage remains high and very public. You will have received emails along the same lines from other fans, communicating anger which we are ensuring is recognised by the media.
“Your silence, and the longer it continues, can only be increasingly regarded as a dismissal of fans’ concerns, threatening to not only create a permanent rupture between the fans and the organisation charged with protecting the game here in England, but also risking toxicity seeping into the relationship between fans and the England squad itself.
“Perhaps we are all going to be amazed later this week when Debbie (Hewitt), in her capacity as FIFA VP, delivers a stunning ultimatum to FIFA that meets the moment and damage caused by FIFA’s pricing? We do not hold our breath.
“What has become clear is that the roles of FA Chairperson and FIFA VP, being held by the same person, are no longer compatible with each other. Whilst you might argue that it is better to have a foot inside the FIFA leadership tent, as it were, this is outweighed by being complicit in FIFA’s full-on financial assault against fans, demonstrated by continued silence.
“It’s time to make a stand. As I said in my previous email, fans fuel the game in many ways. Teams would cease to exist without the outlay on tickets, merchandise and subscriptions. However, those who take that dedication for granted do so at their peril - it is not dedication without limits.
“Ahead of awaiting, perhaps pointlessly, a response to this latest email, I ask you one final question: Which side are you on?” @NoContextESTCFB #ENG

‼️ THE BONDI HERO ‼️
Ahmed El Ahmad, a 43yr-old father-of-two fruit shop owner.
After so bravely jumping on the first terrorist, he was then shot twice by the second terrorist, and is now being treated in hospital but expected to be OK. Thank you Ahmed. 👏👏
Prices are ridiculous, that said if fans squeal and then pay the prices then they are part of the problem!! The only way to stop it is to NOT GO and then FIFA will drop the prices as they want full stadiums!! Don't buy the tickets!
Fifa releases statement highlighting “extraordinary” demand for World Cup tickets. Fifa claims “5m ticket requests” in past 24 hours. Adds that most requests are from the three host nations, followed by “top 10 countries of residence for ticket requests being Colombia, England, Ecuador, Brazil, Argentina, Scotland, Germany, Australia, France and Panama”. Some, of course, may be looking to work the secondary market.
Most sought after group-stage matches during the “Random Selection Draw” period so far: Colombia v Portugal; Brazil v Morocco; Mexico v Korea Republic; Ecuador v Germany; and Scotland v Brazil.
Following extensive criticism from England and Scotland fans understandably outraged at ticket prices, Fifa attempting to change “greed” headlines with statement adding: “As a not-for-profit organisation, Fifa reinvests the revenue it generates from the Fifa World Cup to fuel the growth of football (men's, women's and youth) throughout the 211 Fifa member associations globally”. It’s still greed. It's still pricing out many fans who supported their teams through qualifying. #FIFAWorldCup

FIFA expecting fans to pay thousands of pounds for World Cup knockout tickets in Feb, holding the cash for five months, then charging a £37 fee to refund when your team is out. Totally unacceptable. Every football association should be rejecting this exploitation.

Why is a footballing organisation handing out peace prizes? Does the Nobel Committee award football prizes? Fair enough, give Pres Trump a nice trophy as co-host. Fifa does important work between nations but Infantino’s Fifa risks coming across as a political body #FIFAWorldCup
This is so cringe....you didn't think FIFA could get any more corrupt than when Blatter and Platini were in charge.....but we were wrong!! #WorldCup2026
