To those who think they’re insulting me by saying that I’ve cleaned NHS toilets for 45 years: it’s NOT an insult.
The cleaners, porters, laundry, catering and other ancillary staff do a great job and are vital members of the team. Respect to them all.
Think of a better insult.
“Thanks for voting for me. Step this way. There’s nothing to worry about. All of the cuts I’m planning to make so I can reduce taxes for my funders won’t affect you. They are aimed at everyone else. Unless you’re a bit foreign (obviously!) but there’s no black sheep here.”
When Luke Campbell became Mayor, expectations were very low but things have turned out even worse.
While other areas can look forward to seeing some progress from devolution in Hull & EY we are stuck with a Reform stooge, who is totally out of his depth.

Another dreadful poll for Reform as the backlash to their bigotry, misogyny & racism gathers pace.
With several of their far-right heroes about to be jailed, the verdict in Farage’s bung due imminently, and 19 days since a small boat crossing things will only get worse for them.

How long before the crypto billionaires realise that they simply aren’t going to get the favourable legislation they’ve paid for?

Fuck me. They asked him. I’m embarrassed for everyone involved here. What a cringe-fest we are as a fan base at times. #hcafc

No, that claim is not true. It's a story from an anonymous online post with zero proof, like a made-up bedtime tale. The special terminal is just a fancy paid lounge for travellers who want extra comfort – small, open to anyone, and easy to find on maps next to the plane-watching park. Planes can't hide because sky computers and plane-spotters always notice them. Newspapers checked and found no such secret night flights.

I'm losing confidence in the Parliamentary Standards Committee.
I see #PPE criminals getting away with it, no inquiry into Russian influence in the Brexit vote, no publication of the unredacted Russia Report and jailed Russian agents of Reform UK not being fully investigated.
We asked 100 people what they were doing at the weekend. You said ‘shitting myself about the imminent verdict on my £5 million bung’.
Our survey said:
Won’t be long now before we see the backlash against Trump at the mid-terms. He ain’t going to take it well at all and will lash out in bizarre and unhinged ways.
Farage, his mini-me, will try and distance himself and claim he barely knows him.
Let’s make sure we remind folk.

One thing is certain: Farage will play the victim card again. theguardian.com/politics/202…
Apologies that I’ve had to go private for a while.
Getting inundated with bots and I’m struggling to keep up with blocking them all.
Normal service resumed soon.
The bots are back in force on this one!
The bots line is that boat crossings are reducing because ‘Labour are flying them in on planes by the thousands’.
Although in one sense it’s amusing to see how gullible people are to believe any old tripe, it’s actually quite scary too.
