I still believe PHP is a great language (and Laravel is a stellar framework).

I really don't understand these takes. People will create apps with less than 100 users and will go like I used nodejs because it's faster.. come on😂 I built an sms application with laravel that sends over 2m sms daily without breaking a sweat and this is running on fpm. I didn't even supercharge it with octane yet. PHP works and it works well, that's why we use it.
I still see people start new projects in PHP here and there, and honestly, I don't get it. Give me one good reason.

If you thought only updating PHP today kept you safe, you're wrong. To be clear, there are 4 major security vulnerabilities in the last 48 hours. You need to patch: - PHP - Laravel - Node - Your server Here's what you need to do serversideup.net/blog/php-la…

Hey Laravel developers 👩‍💻 wire:navigate already feels like an SPA — but the swap is instant. Livewire 4.4.5 adds View Transitions so page visits can animate. Put wire:transition.navigate on the region that should move (often your <main>). Leave the sidebar unmarked, and it stays visually still while content morphs. Same directive on <html> if you want a full-page fade. You still use wire:navigate on links. The snapshot shows a stationary shell beside a named content transition. Have you tried native view transitions in a Livewire layout yet? #laravel #php #livewire

Glad you get it. Because I’ll get slaughtered for defending it. Sometimes the answer is; I don’t think you like the game mate? Here are some favourites: *Make the cash per game instead of persistent *There should only be 2 teams *Make the zone smaller *Remove snipers

When you see someone built something useful, don't forget to tell them they did a good job. Because creators often receive a lot of negative comments and replies. And too many people forget to thank and appreciate their work.

Pairframe is open-source, so feel free to submit pull requests to add new cool features! I mainly use it myself, and yes, AI has helped me with it. I’m not expecting a perfect product; it just solved a small problem I had, and I created a tool for it. (Don’t expect greatness!) 🤪

While DeepSeek V4-Flash is significantly cheaper on price per token, this can be misleading if the overall cost per task ends up being higher due to more turns being made. However, @ArtificialAnlys reports DeepSeek completing the same benchmark tasks as Fable at 105x lower cost.

So folks seemed to really like the new 𝚊𝚛𝚝𝚒𝚜𝚊𝚗 𝚍𝚎𝚟 command we announced at @LaraconUS but I got the question "why not tabs" a lot Say less Whipped a lil poc on the plane and, frankly, I like this quite a bit 🔁 toggle between tabbed/stream mode 🔍 inline search Still fixing some jank and styling, no promises that this actually ships, but... it might
