Fantastic turnout for our research info session for MD 1 & 2 students. We were expecting 25 ppl, and recorded nearly 3x that number! Good news for the future of medical research in QLD, not so good for the hungry students who missed out on the free 🍕 that was devoured in 5min 😬

'collaborative' research is a buzzword but for plastics trainees it means a @RACSurgeons /@ACTPRASurgery supported environment to produce impactful research. @CodyFrear @guylenical & Michael Findlay explain why the plastics community should get involved: bit.ly/3pt4VwS

1/🧵 This is the incredible story of an anesthesiologist who, in 1946, purposefully paralyzed himself using curare. Though conditions were controlled, by the end of the experiment he was wide awake and fully paralyzed, without any sedation. #histmed #medtwitter #tweetorial
