Got our ticket punched to Indy! Proud of the way this team competed all weekend. Finished the weekend hitting .438 with a .550 OBP, 3 RBIs, 6 runs scored, and 3 walks. Had a great time at my hitting lesson today and felt strong! Continued working on maintaining my four corners, extension/ cap direction, and being consistent with my movements throughout my swing. Joined my team Sunday after camp on Saturday, and we went 5-0 on the weekend! In today’s 3 games, I hit .500 with 2 RBIs, 4 runs scored, 2 walks, and a stolen base! Pushed myself through speed and agility today, working on driving when I run and creating more explosiveness. The goal is to keep getting stronger while staying quick and controlled in my movement. Put in the work today as I get ready for camp tomorrow! Worked on a smoother defensive approach, a better arm slot, and getting my feet set with a strong base. Offensively, focused on staying inside the ball and connected, holding/ gliding while striding, and direction.
