Do you know of any events in #Colchester that would benefit from our #cadets being there to help? If so, please get in touch with us.
We’re moving!
As part of Essex Police plan to merge all existing Volunteer Police Cadet Twitter accounts into one place, we will be moving ship to @EPCadets !
And as such there will be no more tweets on this account.

FORWARD!
Tonight, our cadets were treated by a session on public order by specially trained officers
Looking at kit officers wear, use and an insight into commands and tactics used!
Just another example of unique experiences our cadets get to enjoy
@EssexPoliceUK @NationalVPC
Tonight, we celebrated #Intake5 passout as cadets, with @CInspHuddleston helping with the final inspection and awards. A big well done, it takes great courage to parade in front of friends and family! Ready to serve the community in @EPColchester @NationalVPC
Tonight, our Cadets were learning about First Accounts whilst the recruits perfected their boots. A pocket notebook is always a Police Officer's best bit of kit!
Whilst our recruits were polishing up their drill, our cadets learnt about police power of seizure and examined a crime scene to find potential evidence! Potential CSIs of the future? @NationalVPC
Mixing with the Meerkats
Today, our cadets in assistance with @EPColchester CPT officers worked with @ColchesterZoo in the upkeep of their enclosures (and a few sneaky animal selfies
Thank you for another great opportunity to work with our community @NationalVPC @CInspHuddleston

Great Evening speaking to Colchester Cadets. Another example of how Careers In Blue can help anyone in their preparation to join the policing family. We also offered advice for any job application too. Thank you to everyone attending 😊 lnkd.in/e8-x8E2G
In the making!
Tonight, our cadets had a productive session with @careersinblue looking at steps into joining the @EssexPoliceUK family.
“I’m definitely going to take it what was said on board” some of the great feedback we had.
Hopefully coming to the streets near you soon.
Thank you all!
Today Colchester Cadets in partnership with the brilliant @HeadwayUK took part in a charity bag pack at @waitrose Colchester.
Brilliant to see such generosity and joyful members of public donating to such a great cause!
@NationalVPC
