What did I tell you. And if you check you’ll see that almost every single one of these vetoed projects were in Democratically held counties and cities. Now there’s a state of emergency, less than 24 hours ahead of the election and blue districts are paralyzed.
I am sorry to see you going through this and I hope you were able to make it home safely but this is not an amendment 3 issue.
This is a Governor’s issue and although I know some of you love DeSantis you cannot negate that he has vetoed a lot of the flood and drainage projects across our state that were meant to address this very issue.
We’ve got to stop allowing these politicians to lie and say they’re saving taxpayer money and running up these enormous government state surpluses and then leaving the residents of Florida holding all the bills when the storms arrive.
