This beautiful Irish #crozier was found on #Helgö, a #Viking trading center. From ca 8th c, it might be the result of plunder. It's made of bronze, with enamel and coloured glass inlays.
The symbols depict Jonah trapped. A similar depiction can be seen on a crozier from Kerry.

Carpathian men from Slovakia with their fujaras; traditional woodwind instruments of the region.
The fujara was played by the shepherds on their long journeys away from home. It is said when played for the sheep it would calm and ease the herd.

We have visited a Center for women and children in Dnipro, #Ukraine.
They receive about 1000 refugees per day, mostly from Luhantsk & Donetsk regions.
On Friday we'll donate diapers and child hygiene kits.
