So, Luther is more efficient, has significantly less total target volume (affects counting stats as YPRR controls for this already), and has had to contend with 3 whole games with backup QBs. Whereas Golden has had basically the perfect setup for a WR to smash (starting QB missed no time, incredibly high tgts and higher tgt share due to less tgt comp/consolidated pass catcher room, top 3 pass rt offense vs burden in a bottom 5 pass rt offense)
If GoldenFC is trying to argue Golden is better, not only is he arguably slightly behind Burden so far ESPECIALLY when you consider the QB situation and scheme, but reminder that 7 games isnt the only sample we have either. And ik for a fact #they dont wanna go down that road
Point being, its very close and based on the efficiency metrics id lean Burden slightly based on the YPRR and the QB situation hes had to contend with. Doesnt mean Golden isnt having a good year, bc he absolutely is outside of some slightly concerning drop issues. But lets quit pretending by week 4 or 5 it was a done deal that one was better than the other. Long way to go, and things may change multiple times still
