I just rewatched the round and his claim does have validity to it imo
Ian Garry loses a round where he did more damage to Islam but got “outworked” yet Yan wins a round where he was outworked but did more damage. The scoring criteria is just inconsistent as fuck
Aljamain Sterling says he would have preferred a 10–10 third round in Yan–Merab, which would have produced a draw, while crediting Yan for finishing strongly.
“Damage should score. But what happened to all the other damage? It was a great fight, a coin flip of a round for round three. I would have liked to see it go 10–10, but that’s never going to happen. And then the fight ends in a draw. Of course, Petr Yan ended the fight strong. Kudos to him. You could say the fight was trending in Petr Yan’s way. I agree. But that’s the way the decision went, and unfortunately we came up short.”

FINALLY been cleared to fight again!
After a long, drawn-out process over nothing, I’m finally able to get back in the ring.
So, I’m now seeking sponsorship support from businesses to help with the costly process of doing so.
Please get in touch if anyone could help. Thanks!🫱🏻🫲🏼
