If they had won SB XVIII, they’d be considered one of the greatest teams of all time.

I’m frustrated by this. The front office’s pre-draft evaluation told them that Allen was worth selecting in the 6th round. Four games (12 carries later), he’s outright cut. I understand that late round picks oftentimes don’t work out. However, this feels rash and ill-advised.

Two other nice options for Green right here. The first featuring that great throwback uni. The second being his famous punt return TD against the Bears in the 1987 playoffs.

Okay, but why make the decision before you have to? In other words, we didn’t need the salary cap relief. Give yourself a fallback option until you see how FA plays out. If you sign someone better, then make the move at that time. It’s simply about maintaining your options.

He tore his ACL after signing with LA. That doesn’t mean it would have happened here. By releasing him before FA, they unnecessarily backed themselves into a corner. I have no problem with securing an upgrade but do it in the proper order. It became “FA or bust” and here we are.

The decision to cut Biadasz before free agency remains a head scratcher. Why make that move before you’ve secured his replacement? Test the FA market first and then make an informed decision. They put the cart in front of the horse on that one.

The sheer volume of injuries we’ve sustained this early in the season is absolutely staggering.

Yep, it’s been brutal for us. I mean, it’s only Week 4. Sigh…

I recall hearing that too. They wanted to pursue a standalone spear but Florida State wouldn’t allow it.

I’m assuming that’s the case too. Either that or they filed this as their plan all along and it wasn’t a subsequent “ask” to the league for a change.

I’m happy with this news. However, can you explain how we are able to make subsequent uniform changes in ‘27 without violating the 5-year NFL uniform rule? Since we just overhauled the entire set this year, how are we allowed to make a helmet change one year later?

EXCLUSIVE: Sources tell me the Washington Commanders are planning to change their primary logo for the 2027 season
And that logo is a familiar one: the team’s new alternate W logo with a spear running through it, unveiled in April with their new black “Hail Raiser” uniform
I’m also told there are no plans for further changes to Washington’s branding in 2027 *as of now*
Here’s more + why I think the switch is a smart move👇

Just devastating….I’m at a loss for words.

Sorry, but only moving up the Commanders three spots from last year doesn’t make any sense. They fixed almost every issue and your dislike of the “W” helmet logo shouldn’t be enough to keep them ranked that low. It’s obviously your list but I respectfully disagree on this one.

Agreed. Two plays in the first half completely changed that game. The blocked punt TD and Rocket Screen. Without them, it’s 7-3 at halftime and very much a game. We just dug too deep a hole with those mistakes and things fell apart in the second half.
