Transvestigaton, Decoy Operations, Gay Bashing, The Lavender Scare and more historical and modern movements render this point fruitless. If queers go into hiding they are famously sought out and the metrics for spotting them widens.
Not to mention that the concept of "going stealth" often falls apart in legal and medical contexts. Contexts in which queer, especially trans people, are often most vulnerable.
- Over a dozen states since 2022/23 enacting or proposing "Don't say gay/they" laws in public schools
- GLAAD reporting a sharp decline in LGBT char. in broadcast, cable, and steaming since 2022
- National acceptance steadily declining since 2022

People see being closeted as a form of impulse control because rather than seeing queerness as a state of being they see it as an action or behavior. Every queer person is familiar with queerness being referred to as their "lifestyle". Make no mistake- this is what that is.
I'd love to hear an argument against the "craft" or quality of their current music/genres that isn't just racist. I've said it before and I'll say it again, ATZ is getting bolder and more intentional with their black/latin american influences and a lot of y'all don't like that π€«

If the grand solution to oppression is to simply not exist then congrats you've discovered the raison d'Γͺtre and ultimate goal of oppression. A willful genocide of culture and identity is not a clever escape from oppression it is quite literally allowing it to reach its telos.

Josh's petty transgressions are entirely incompatible to the slew of reprehensible acts and behaviors committed by the primary cast and I believe that his being a minor character paired with having a more stereotypically gay demeanor makes him an undeserving punching bag.
Atiny are way too confident in their supposed insight and knowledge into the interworkings of KQ and the relationship between the company and the members, not to mention how often they speak over/for the members and misinterpret their words in as bad faith as possible.
