I feel like the kinds of readers who like books like "A Naked Singularity" and "Miss MacIntosh" and listen to my favorite literary podcast, @ConcavityShow, will one day find "In the Light of What We Know." It's encyclopedic and stimulating in the same ways and will last, I hope.

Jessica Anthony's new novel (novella?) The Most is the subject of our latest episode of @ConcavityShow. The book centers on the story of a 1950s mother who gets into a swimming pool one warm November morning and refuses to get out. @dave__laird open.spotify.com/episode/3MJ…

I’ve had a signed copy of The Instructions on my shelf for about 5 years and haven’t actually read it yet, but this conversation encouraged me to order the new addition. Having it in two chunks will actually make it possible to carry it with me…and thanks for the coupon code!

Steven Moore, Harold Bloom & David Foster Wallace (among many others). 'A wraithlike shadow passes by.' indeed. Found the interview episode of @ConcavityShow informative, and agrees wholeheartedly with @biblioklept's excellent review. 4/4

Although we didn't put out a ton of episodes in 2023, I'm grateful to everyone who listened to @ConcavityShow this year and stuck with us. Several great guests coming in the first few months of 2024! @dave__laird
