Our night guard opens the gate for us at 2am. He used to get a box of sweets for Diwali. 🪔
Since 2021, our tower pools money instead. This year 54 flats gave about ~2,300 each. Total 1.25 lakh+
30k each to our two tower guards
15k to housekeeping
~1,100 each to 38 malis, gate guards, electricians, plumbers, carpenters
Even the guy who joined just 2 months ago got his share
6th year running. Start to end, it's run on one WhatsApp group by four residents. Any society can copy this.
