Slow your roll, folks! Speeding can leave you with less time to react to what’s ahead. Slow down and give yourself enough time to respond when traffic or road conditions change.

October is National Pedestrian Safety Month! 🚶🌙
Now that it gets dark earlier, make sure to stay alert and look out for each other.

During this last week of Pedestrian Safety Month, save and share this quick guide to stay SAFE.🚶➡️🚘

ALT This image is a safety poster divided into two sections. The top section, titled "Pedestrian Safety," advises using a crosswalk, following road rules, finding a well-lit area if no crosswalk is available, and watching for cars in driveways and parking lots. The bottom section, titled "Driver Awareness," suggests watching for pedestrians, yielding to them, and slowing down, especially in poor visibility conditions. Various icons accompany each tip, such as a crosswalk, a yield sign, and a slow down sign.
November and December had the highest number of pedestrian crashes in all of 2025. As days get shorter, let's watch out for each other and drive like a Texan: kind, courteous and safe. News release: ow.ly/JAFt5100YIV #DriveLikeATexan #BeSafeDriveSmart
