Brian and Jill Hall have sacrificed a lot to give their children a Catholic education. When Colorado launched its UPK program, they were excited to send their preschooler to St. Mary, a school already woven into their community. But the state’s rules prevented them from using UPK funding there because of the school’s religious beliefs.
Now, the fight for fair access to preschool funding is headed to the Supreme Court. On November 3, the Court will hear St. Mary Catholic Parish v. Roy. Learn more: youtu.be/sxMxiqqGJyI

A decade ago, a clear majority of Americans had high confidence in U.S. colleges and universities. Today, fewer than a third do, while the share with very little or no confidence has nearly tripled.
Higher ed’s confidence crisis has been years in the making.

Massachusetts’ highest court just blocked statues honoring police and firefighters because they’re “closely affiliated with a particular religion.”
No religiously-tied monument in America is safe if that logic holds.

We (@becketfund) just filed a lawsuit challenging Oklahoma’s rule that excludes faith-based schools from joining the state’s charter school program.
The Oklahoma Statewide Charter School Board just slammed the door on Ben Gamla Jewish Charter School, arguing that the state Supreme Court’s decision in St. Isidore v. Drummond left them no choice. That ruling is flatly unconstitutional and hurts Sooner families—we @becketfund will soon ask a federal court to make that clear.

BREAKING: Maryland House passed a bill to FORCE ALL private schools to hand their admissions processes to the government.
Religious schools would be forced to embrace transgender insanity.
Leftists would have a new right to sue schools over gender ideology.
It passed 100–35.

The Supreme Court has an opportunity to protect the First Amendment rights of therapists in Chiles v. Salazar.
Watch the @ConsProjOrg's latest video to learn more. 👇
Over half the states in this country require therapists to *encourage* kids to transition.
Yes, if the therapist does anything but affirm, she can get fined and lose her license.
The Supreme Court just considered a case that could strike down all these laws.
Will this be a victory for Christians? Or will trans activists keep the law on their side?

🚨 BREAKING: The Supreme Court just handed a historic victory to parents over California's secret gender transition policies today, ruling 6-2 in our case Mirabelli v. Bonta.
DECISION AND REACTIONS: thomasmoresociety.org/news/u…
California required schools to secretly facilitate children's gender transitions without telling parents. Teachers were forced to use different names and pronouns behind parents' backs. One family only found out their daughter had been transitioning at school after she attempted suicide.
Today the Court said: enough. The justices found that California's secrecy regime likely violates both the First Amendment and the Fourteenth Amendment's protection of parental rights. The Court held that California "cut out the primary protectors of children's best interests: their parents."
What makes this decision groundbreaking: the Court reaffirmed that parents—not the state—have the constitutional right to direct the upbringing of their children and to participate in decisions about their children's mental health. Even Justice Kagan in dissent said she has "no doubt" parents have these rights and that California "could have crossed the constitutional line."
The class-wide injunction blocking California's policies is back in effect for a statewide class of parents. This is a historic just a win for parents and a precedent that puts every secret gender transition policy in America on notice.

“The irony is stark. Louisiana and Texas want to give students voluntary access to foundational texts that shaped Western civilization. Colorado denies parents voluntary access to publicly funded preschool because they choose faith-based education.
The religion clauses found in the First Amendment provide the answer.” - @ConsProjOrg Director @BayerPicciotti
