These accounts are running fake giveaways. One giveaway post was even hit with a Community Note stating the image appears to be AI-generated. These fake giveaways have been confirmed with the main actor himself in DMs. Screenshots provided.

I came across this story about a father who sold his Pokémon collection to help fund stem cell treatment for his son.
His childhood cards are helping give his child a childhood. That line hits me hard.
As a new dad, I know any father would give up anything to give their child a chance.
Both parents are nurses. They have two kids, and they’ve reluctantly set up a GoFundMe.
People are also reaching out to send cards so this dad can maybe rebuild what he gave up.
This is what makes Pokémon special.

People need to remember that inspiration is what drives this field. I've taken hundreds of thousands of photos in my lifetime, and I've drawn inspiration for them from what I've seen throughout my life. I've spent years in the professional and non-professional side and they overlap quite a bit.
All my photos draw from emotion. Trying to illicit a reaction in the viewer and turn something seemingly benign into something more grandeur. The methods I use aren't a secret, I didn't make them - they're inherited by viewing the world and how other's work. People ask me all the time "how do I be better at this?" and all I can say is that you need to look to your peers for inspiration. This is something that's TAUGHT in school.
Imitation is the worlds greatest form of flattery, and people best remember that.
