Earlier this week, we hosted an Agriculture in the Classroom conference for Wright State University Lake Campus Education students. 🍎🌱 They participated in interactive breakout sessions and took home resources to help them incorporate agriculture into their future classrooms.

We had a great time at East Elementary today! Kindergarten students put the strength of an egg to the test and celebrated porktober by learning about the inside of our pig barns!

Pork Myth: Pork needs to be cooked until it's completely white and dry Pork FACT: Whole cuts of pork, such as chops and roasts, are safe to eat when cooked to an internal temperature of 145° F, followed by a three minute rest. Pork may still be slightly pink in the center!
