of course, it's working people who are being fleeced. Reckon the cold's biting now? give it three more years.
'All we've managed in the past 3 years is to shear half a sheep Give us three more years and we'll have a go at the other half' OK, lads. Let's not set our sights too high

this young interviewer completely embarrasses christopher luxon, who tries to say the kid doesn't know the details of the move-on bill, only for the kid to come back and grill him on the details, while luxon just stammers and deflects. clip via voteotago on instagram

Hey Penny Marie Claridge, Let Kids Be Kids NZ, #NotADragQueen
🚨David Hollowell, the Bible-thumping Indiana man whose Facebook feed once mocked “homosexuals for lecturing us on morality” and Democrats for “choosing” “atheism over the Almighty God” and “criminals over police” has been convicted of r*ping a 13-year-old girl, child m*lesting, and burglary in a 2003 Charlestown cold case. The jury acquitted him of attempted murder for allegedly shooting the girl’s stepfather in the head—which he miraculously survived—due to lack of evidence. He got 30 years. Before the DNA caught up with him, Hollowell was busy sharing memes that lectured America about morals while posting photos of Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib in a keffiyeh (a traditional square woven cotton scarf worn across the Middle East) comparing them to masked militants and warning that Muslims in Congress wanted to “destroy us from within.” He also boosted “Warriors for Christ” graphics attacking “homosexuals,” “transvestites,” and woman who decide to get abortions. A man who spent years policing other people’s values online was the one who broke into a home and assaulted a child.

Are you not embarrassed that the ASA banned you from using your ad because it was riddled with lies?

Is this like the 'up to' $250 bucks you all lied about, or the 'local water done well' for a lower cost, or 'more houses than Labour built' bullshit?

OMG! They used a convention center for a conference! THE AUDACITY 🤣
You honestly could not make this up. Tākina – Wellington's $180 million 'white elephant' convention centre – has finally found a tenant worthy of it. Chris Hipkins and the Labour Party. The poster child for wasteful council spending that disrespected ratepayers, now hosting the party that disrespects taxpayers and still can't explain its funding gap. And right on cue, Labour's $18 billion funding gap just keeps getting bigger, with yet another unfunded announcement. Worse still, it's a reheat. The very same speech Chris Hipkins served up at Labour's conference three years ago. National supports Apprenticeship Boost. In fact, we restored it after Labour failed to fund it, one of 21 unfunded programmes left behind by Chris Hipkins. But let's be clear. This is more spending that will have to be paid for through higher taxes or more borrowing and debt. Labour had the chance at their election year conference to be upfront with Kiwis about how they would fill their $18 billion funding gap. They didn't even attempt to answer that question. Instead, they've simply piled another $226 million of spending on top and failed to explain how they would pay for it. Labour's approach is more spending, more handouts, and more short-term fixes, without addressing the underlying causes of the cost-of-living pressures facing Kiwi families. National's approach is to control spending, cut waste, and grow the economy so New Zealanders can earn more and get ahead. The good news is that National's approach is working. The growing economy is set to create 220,000 more jobs and see wages growing faster than prices, which is the only way to address the cost of living long term. National has a long-term plan to fix the basics and build New Zealand's future. Labour can't even explain how they'll pay for theirs.

Remember this - I'm sure you'll find a way not to Actually I'm pretty relaxed with people riffing a bit in an informal way as part of a private session - where's you sense of humour? At least neither she or her leader called some of the public "bottom-feeders" & don't lose papers

Was surprised to learn on Waatea News recently that the deputy PM doesn’t think politicians should change election rules without a public vote, and am expecting that Act will withdraw its support for restrictions on voter registration any day now thespinoff.co.nz/politics/01…
