We need to protect what making music and being a musician means
No AI artists
No ghost produced artists
No multi millionaire larpers
The music means everything more when there's someone authentic behind it, who works hard and has worked hard to get there

If you have a ghost producer in a genre that’s supposed to be for nerds that love pushing sound design/flow to it’s limits than you’re a poser and should feel bad. Get good or don’t do it at all

Artists should produce for themselves.
Djs should actually dj themselves.
It's not a hot or controversial take, it's about actually doing the art you're taking credit for.
The bare minimum, and we need to protect it!

I’ve been saying this for fucking years and got absolutely kicked in the nuts for saying it. Their argument was “it brings jobs and not everyone talented with production wants to tour or be a public artist”.
Fuck ghost producing and those who use it.

throwing my hat into the discourse - if you are a ghost produced act you should QUIT MUSIC! i’m so serious! you are the genuine epitome of what is wrong with music. that’s all and good bye now 🖤

Overnight, Israel bombed homes and tents in Gaza, killing nearly 100 people.
Our government should have acted long ago to prevent this genocide by sanctioning Israel, ending arms sales, and upholding international law.
The longer we fail to act, the more our complicity grows.

Many in our media are finally waking up to the unspeakable horrors that Palestinians are enduring in Gaza.
It is too late.
Israel inflicted these horrors because they were encouraged to do so, in part by a media class that failed to treat all human life with equal worth.

What’s popping gang,
This is the art i’ve made for my last 3 releases. I’ve put a lot more effort into it than i usually do and i’m very proud of how they came out :) The effort is worth it to me because i get to make my mark on the world and add something unique to my project. Wether u like what i’ve made or not, i wanted to showcase these because i see a lot of young producers and even some of my peers resort to AI for their artwork/flyers etc. I think using models that are trained on other peoples hard work is pretty fucking whack, and there’s a ton of different avenues u can take. There’s more tools than ever to make artwork, there’s a ton of free alternatives to most big name programs and a million tutorials. A lot of you are a lot more capable of making art than you’d think if u put in a little time. And if learning that skill is not your thing, then commission an artist. There’s loads of very skilled artists in all price ranges, there’s literally no excuse. Rant over 😎

Gisele Pelicot will forever be the face of dignity and resilience.
Her bravery is truly remarkable — and she has empowered millions of women around the world.
Today, we stand with all survivors of sexual violence and against the systems that intimidate them into silence.

The election of Donald Trump is a dark day for reproductive healthcare, the rights of refugees and the future of our planet.
As we speak, people are being slaughtered in Gaza and Lebanon. Our demands on our governments have not changed: stop enabling genocide and end all arms sales to Israel.
We are a global movement, made up of all faiths and backgrounds, united in our opposition to racism and hatred. We will never abandon hope in a more equal, sustainable and peaceful world.

The bombs raining down on Gaza are in part being supplied by this country. I asked the Prime Minister if he would finally end this country’s complicity in war crimes. He refused.

I’ve never understood projects that are ghost produced because getting better at your craft and getting the respect of like minded people in your world is the best part about being an artist. Since i really doubled down on the visual part of my project some of the animators/illustrators i’ve looked up to for years started following me and started nerding out w me about that stuff and it’s something i’d pick over for instance headlining a festival any day.
