the worst part of visiting hong kong was realizing their goofy ass double decker trams from like 1920 are still faster than the TTC streetcars through dt toronto 😭😭

Il est difficile aujourd'hui d'imaginer la valeur d'une ligne comme celle-là. Mais, lorsqu'elle a été abandonné, le public ne le voyait pas ainsi. Pour eux, il s'agissait d'une évolution économique naturelle — le train était lent, coûteaux, et inflexible par rapport à un bus.

🍇 Before the Wine Train, tourists rode electric trains to Napa. From Vallejo's ferry slips, the Napa Valley Route hurried commuters and wine country tourists to Napa, St. Helena, and Calistoga. Abandoned in 1937, footage of these trains is very rare. So, enjoy this video!

本日の黒部峡谷鉄道2 鐘釣では小屋平行きバキューム列車を撮影。ブルーシートは好まないですがこの色のシートは良いですね。1両目にはポンプ、後の3両にはタンクが積載されています。
