I’ve never felt like I get what I pay for whenever I have interacted with an insurance company.
The only thing I’ve felt insured of, is the fact that I’m regularly paying the company money I’m never seeing again
I mean, i pay my health over $203 per PAYCHECK (meaning every 2 weeks for me, and 11.7% of my pay after taxes, so roughly $406 per month)
And they expect me to meet a $6K deductible before the cover ANYTHING in or out of “network”

It took me an embarrassingly long time to learn the pronunciation of the word “ennui”; whenever someone brought it up I kept hearing “andouille” as in the smoked sausage.
There were many times growing up I heard “ennui” and wondered “why are we bringing sausage into this?”
