After three weeks, my QB board looks very different from the media consensus entering 2026. The question: which early-season riser is real, and who am I missing?

When you understand the business model, you understand the media amplifies the QB prospects who drive viewership & engagement. It’s not always about who’s the best NFL prospect.

Got a text from another personnel executive this morning, noting that this is the third straight QB class that has had similar problems.

No because the offense already have more than enough favorable rules in place.

Casdix has to be thrilled to death. I’m sure they will gladly pay the $1k fine because the earned media they got in return is more than worth it. I had never heard of Caddix until now.

QB is the most difficult position to evaluate. Underwood, Manning and several others were paid millions

Bryce Underwood commanded millions. It didn’t work. Now GMs are pondering whether any prep passer is worth that kind of cash. “There’s plenty of quarterbacks that can get you to a championship that are not named Bryce Underwood. And now you’ve seen it.” foxsports.com/stories/colleg…

The Bryce Underwood Experiment Has Become A Cautionary Tale For College Football

Bryce Underwood’s costly Michigan NIL deal is raising questions about high school recruiting, quarterback evaluation and how college football front offices spend big. Ben Portnoy has the story.

An NFL spokesman said the league is investigating the situation surrounding former Titans DT Jordan Elliott, who was released after he brought a gun to the team’s training facility. If there is a violation that’s found while he’s not on a team, Elliott could serve a suspension as the free agent that he now is.
