This tour has been so good and very reinvigorating. Both us and Microwave have been blown away by everyone coming out and showing so much love to not only us but the other bands on the tour. Y’all are fucking awesome.
Very glad I got to spend time with my brother over the last few days. Tour picks back up tomorrow in Pomona 💪
I tried to make my way out to hang out tonight but shit got a little wild and my phone died so I went to charge it and now all of my texts are reporting back unsent. I’m sorry yall. If you see this I will gladly come find you to talk if it’s possible.
Not gonna go all out on thoughts about the list but I just wanna say I am thankful that we are even on it, let alone even in consideration.
This is the hardest it’s ever been for me to leave for tour. Phoebe is really developing her own cute and funny little personality and now I’m gonna be away for 5 weeks. I love what I do but damn man it’s hard to know I’m not gonna see her little smile every morning.
Can’t wait to get home and see my mini. Her personality shows itself more and more each day and it’s such a beautiful thing to witness. She is such a joy to be around.

But yeah might as well let you all know what I’ve been up to musically since I’ve been being a dad and mostly social media absent for a bit. Working on the heavy project, working on a solo emo project, Free Throw has A LOT in the chamber including stuff you will hear very soon.
Also I’ve been so busy I never showed anyone my Tofu bass that I put together for the home studio lol. Tofu is a chonk so bass seemed like the right instrument to do in his likeness

Anyway speaking of heavy music, I’ve been working on a heavy project by myself that is based on Kaiju movies and the first part of it is based on the movie Cloverfield and I showed what I’m working on to Kevin today and he said it was heavy as fuck so that’s cool
Just saw video that made me wanna say something: viciously crowd killing a specific corner of the pit filled with a smaller people that you know won’t issue a receipt, repeatedly, while not moshing IN the pit and smiling at your homies is absolute Joffrey Baratheon behavior.

I don’t really like the band or the song itself really, but the vocal melody on the chorus and post chorus of Lips Of An Angel is honestly really fucking good. I guess you could say it SOUNDS SOOOO SWEEeeEET. That’s it. All I have to say today I think.
Great news! Tofu’s tests came back perfectly healthy! The vet thinks he may have just eaten something bad or had a little stomach bug! He’s healthy and happy and back to begging for treats today! That was an expensive little scare but always totally worth it for my chunky guy. 🥹
Tofu has been a little more himself on my late night check up on him just now. He was up and purring and rubbing against my legs which is a great sign considering how lethargic and distant he was being yesterday morning. I’ll keep everyone updated as soon as his tests come back.
