On Friday, Lacey retired from her guiding duties. I have her for a few more days before she heads to her new home, so we spent our last Sunday together doing her favourite things: visiting the park, people watching at the coffee shop, and hanging out with her toys 🐇
I’ve spent 4 days en vacances wandering the streets of Paris singing “da da da da da da da who's Madeline?”
Anyway will someone please come forward and claim this traditional French sponge, it’s not mine xo

BREAKING NEWS: @ZackPolanski announces on #bbclaurak this morning that @TheGreenParty has overtaken the Tories in membership numbers to become the third largest party in the country.
There has been an 80% increase in membership numbers since Zack was elected Leader last month.
Hey @TfL, I’m totally blind and live in Croydon. Thrilled to have trams, less thrilled by the omission of some fundamental accessibility considerations, which have today resulted in my tram ride home (with 3 heavy bags) including a visit to a completely unfamiliar tram stop. 1/
The tram has the potential to be the most accessible way of getting around South London. There’s lots of level access, well designed infrastructure, and reliability. But if the absolute fundamentals are completely overlooked, you create an inaccessible and stressful system. 8/

Wish I could say I was shocked, but here's the Labour government constraining the right to peaceful protest again...
'You can protest but only according to our rules. The rules are: you're not allowed to use any of the tactics that make protest effective.'
NEW: Police forces will be granted new powers to put conditions on repeat protests, Shabana Mahmood says.
The new powers, to be brought in asap, will allow senior officers to consider ‘cumulative impact’ of previous protests - and move them elsewhere.
Home Secretary will also review existing legislation to ensure that powers are sufficient and being consistently applied.

Terrifying to see Global Sumud Flotilla being intercepted by Israeli forces - we know how brutally the Israeli military has treated those on previous flotillas.
The world is watching - the Foreign Secretary @YvetteCooperMP must urgently step up to ensure safety of those on board
Here's the moment that the Global Sumud Flotilla boat Adara was intercepted by Israel.
Recorded by our journalist @Kieran_Andrieu.
Streaming playlists clearly compiled in the US be like ‘chill out whilst you work from home with a cat gently meandering around your softly carpeted living room and wind chimes sooth you from the garden’ and then 4 tracks in they’ll just throw in Mr Brightside for a jump scare
I’ve been completely floored by (I assume) Covid — though a negative test — for the past 48+ hours. A reminder that it, or at least bugs very much like it, are still incredibly prevalent, and if anecdotal evidence is anything to go by, rampant in London at the moment.
Severe muscle pain and fatigue, throbbing headaches, stomach cramps and nausea, and the typical flu-y symptoms we all know and love. *
All very sudden to come on, just a slight sore throat the day before which, for me, is far from unusual.
* hate. Really, really hate.
