HR sent an email reminding everyone to use their remaining vacation days before December. A guy from our sales team named Kevin replied to the entire company. He asked if he could donate 11 unused days to Rosa, a woman working in our shipping department. HR replied that vacation days couldn't be transferred between employees. Kevin asked whether the company would pay him for the unused days instead. They said no. Rosa had been spending nights at the hospital with her daughter and had almost no leave remaining.
