The most frustrating thing about generative AI is that nobody was asking for it. We had a perfectly functioning world before it came along and instead of making life better, it feels like itβs actively making so many things worse. What exactly have we gained?
We donβt have many children that come by, but this is how the entrance to our house looked for Halloween
They get candy and can stick their hand in the box and get stickers or a bone pen too

New British TV ad, coming to a station near you November 2026.
ALT a picture parody of the old british anti piracy adverts, in this instance mocking the new UK pornography laws.

it is possible to not use AI to make cool art and they proved it

When a car goes 25 mph nobody cares. Thatβs what it was designed to do.
When a human being runs 25 mph, itβs an accomplishment because a HUMAN BEING achieved it.
Nobody gives a shit if a machine spits out the code, art, and animations and creates a game. The reason games are successful comes from people experiencing the developerβs own vision. Itβs not just about the product and the profit, itβs about seeing peopleβs ideas come to life through their own work.
Hereβs a hard-to-swallow pill for people who support AI: Having dreams and ideas is not actually impressive, everybody has them. Itβs putting in the effort yourself to make them happen that makes it impressive, and if you think people will still appreciate that when you used an AI to do the hard work for you then you clearly donβt know what it means to truly create.
