*Really* not reading the room, @andyburnham, even though Abdul El-Sayed & James Talarico both *specifically* referenced Israel's genocide in Gaza after their victory
We need brave politicians, not US/Israeli bought poodles

My late mum had dementia. While sorting her estate,I found EE had been taking monthly payments for years despite no account activity. She reported her phone lost & believed the matter was resolved.Your bereavement team says nothing. How is this fair to a vulnerable customer?

Labour MP's congratulating Abdul El-Sayed?
I'm old enough to remember when Labour forced a Labour MP to apologise after she called Israel an apartheid state.

Tesco profits shot up from Β£883m to Β£2.3bn.
βAn extra Β£1.4bn+ in profit while families STRUGGLE to afford basic groceries.
βItβs not a cost-of-living crisis, itβs a cost-of-greed crisisβbacked by government INACTION! π

So Andy Burnham is now saying the US has the opportunity to end the Iran war when he is the prime minister who is letting Trump use our bases to bomb Iran? π€¦

If the Supreme Court upholds the ludicrous terrorist proscription of Palestine Action - which has only ever broken criminal law - it will only serve to confirm to the rest of the world that British justice has become a laughing stock. An arm of the state. Politicised.

Labourβs hypocrisy knows no bounds, if El-Sayed was a Labour MP he wouldβve been expelled for being antisemitic.
When you vilify, smear and demonise good people who refuse to let your hate define them, other good people don't stand by.
They stand up and vote for hope over fear.
Congratulations @AbdulElSayed π

This is the same Labour Government letting B52 bombers take off from British soil to bomb Iran - while people here at home pay the price of Trump's illegal war in spiking energy prices.
Warm words about ending the war won't cut it - Burnham must end the UK's participation.

So @andyburnham says todayβs US results are a vindication of those who want to focus on world peace & ending the cost of living crisis
Pity that him & @UKLabour aren't among them
You know who *is* though? The Green Party. Vindicated.

Polanski is one of few politicians in the UK who can congratulate Abdul El-Sayed without stinking of hypocrisy.

BREAKING - ARRESTS
Former government barrister Tim Crosland is among those arrested at the Supreme Court while holding signs mirroring the words of Sarah Helm, wife of the National Security Adviser to Andy Burnham.
The court is hearing an appeal over the Palestine Action ban.

Congratulations to Dr @AbdulElSayed and to all US candidates who have defeated pro-aparheid lobbyβs effort to elect politicians that support Israelβs ethnic cleansing and atrocity crimes in Palestine.
May this be the beginning of the end of the rule of lawlessness brought upon us

An utterly appalling response from my MP, @AWMurrison, on Gaza.
Riddled with pro-Israel bias, selective evidence and glaring omissions.
He leans heavily on Hamas, 7th October and antisemitism, yet offers virtually no meaningful condemnation of Israel's atrocities or demands for accountability.
He even cherry-picks @UN opinion to dismiss genocide allegations while ignoring the UN's own findings.
This is not impartiality. It's a complicit double standard from an elected representative.
