Let. Them. Cook.
Zack Snyder’s Justice League in theaters? The Ayer Cut finally released? And maybe even IMAX?
We’re told Paramount and Warner Bros. Discovery are planning a “celebration of movies” series featuring directors’ cuts and fan-favorite franchises — complete with theatrical runs, red carpets, director and cast Q&As, plus new Blu-rays and collector’s merch.
Snyder. Ayer. Star Trek. Mission: Impossible. Harry Potter.
And the idea is pretty simple: bring loyal fandoms back to theaters — and see what they want MORE of.
If this happens, SnyderVerse fans could finally get the big-screen event they’ve been asking for.

"They" chose the targets they chose to specifically try to wipe out any and all Christianity, specifically Catholicism, in Japan.
It is one of the most disgusting details about that tragic event.
When I was in college, we had an Ethics class. We had this older Thomist priest that I had considered to be a bit stone-cold. He would give out failing grades on technicalities.
But one class, he started talking about the hidden Japanese Christians arround Nagasaki. The absolutely horrendous persecution that they endured, the confusion they had with no sacraments. The prayers they sent out for God in hopes of forgiveness without the sacraments. The struggle of falling in love with mixed motives, finding oneself turning away from God for only a minute or two and finding yourself in mortal sin with no confession to go to. The talks of priests in black returning. Were there ever any other-Christs that came anyways? Was it all a lie? Why live with guilt?
But then the priests return. All of those generations who had kept the faith had succeeded. Can you imagine the joy and the gratitude? In the same spots as the persecutions a cathedral is now built out in the open. People don't have to hide anymore. Instead of having to live in uncertainty, there are priests to hear your confession. In 1945 the Catholics in Nagasaki line up for confession before the feast of the Assumption. The priests in the box finish up with their absolutions. And then suddenly, every single person is utterly annihilated with an other-worldly bomb.
My priest Ethics teacher finished telling this story and just sat there and cried. One of the most haunting things I've ever seen.

They will milk the Marvel Studios/MCU partnership for all it is worth, and when that well has run dry, they will do some kind of legacy-sequel for Tobey or Andrew(or both, who the heck knows) and THEN they'll be due to do a total reboot with a proper origin story once again.
Sony reportedly can't make their own live-action Spider-Man films.
Disney doesn't want competing live-action Spider-Man franchises, since it co-produces the MCU Spider-Man films.
