Hands down one of the best talks on stewardship that I've heard!
In this message, Rachel Cruze exposes five lies the world tells us about money and contrasts them with God’s truth. She unpacks how culture encourages comparison, debt, and the pursuit of more, while God calls us to gratitude, contentment, and faithful stewardship. Rachel challenges us to shift our perspective, reminding us that money isn’t about what we have—it’s about its position in our hearts.

The first 3 questions God asked Adam & Eve after they sin are:
1. Where are you?
2. Who told you?
3. What have you done?
A good list for preachers. Good preaching helps people locate themselves in their estrangement & identify the voices we often listen to instead of God.

When Someone You Love is Hurting
We all know people who are hurting. It’s part of life in this broken world. And as believers, we want to help—we want to make things better. But let’s be honest, sometimes we don’t know what to do or say.
Here’s something to consider: when someone is feeling down, they don’t always need a sermon. What they need most is a friend. Sometimes the greatest ministry you can offer isn’t words but presence. Just being there, showing up, and letting them know they’re not alone can speak louder than anything you could say.
Let’s be the kind of people who love others like Jesus does—with compassion, kindness, and presence. 🙏 #LoveLikeJesus #BeThereForThem
