Ironically, it is an fundamental weakening of cryptography/blockchain. AI alegedly demonstrated that there are always ways to efficiently break a cryptographic system
There are very few verifiably 'early'- created and minted(at least the contracts) before 2020.
Notable is @DeepBlackAI singled out as the only early ai art minted in higher numbers(3074). @EarlyAiArt tracks very well the most important collections from that era.
