MCC Finder is a community-powered database where cardholders share and verify merchant names and MCCs from real transactions.
For example, Amazon can appear as ASSPL (5399), AMAZON PAY INDIA PRIVATET (5262) or AMAZON PAY GIFT CARDS (5947). The exact merchant descriptor and MCC can make all the difference to your credit card rewards.
How does it work?
- Report: Share the merchant name shown in your OTP and the MCC received.
- Verify: Vote 👍 if your transaction matches or 👎 if it doesn't.
- Build confidence: Each MCC needs at least 3 votes before receiving a High, Medium or Low confidence rating.
- Share insights: Use merchant comments to discuss which cards and payment methods worked.

Why is Tata Neu HDFC making NeuCoins manual claim from 25 Nov?
Official reason: None given.
Real reasons (most likely):
1. Breakage - Many users will forget to claim. Unclaimed coins expire after ~1 year → lower actual reward cost for HDFC/Tata.
2. Force app usage - You now have to open Tata Neu App and claim after every statement. More engagement + cross-sell.
3. Control & reconciliation - Auto-transfer was creating mismatches and support load. Manual claim = cleaner tracking.
4. Standardisation - Milestone & promo coins already needed claiming. Now regular earnings follow the same model.
5. Abuse control - Limits (min 100 coins, max 3 claims/day) make misuse harder.
Bottom line: Added friction for users, cost saving for the program.
Don’t let your coins expire. Set a monthly reminder.

Ordered a product on @amazonIN with Open Box Delivery. Paid full amount upfront.
Product was dead on arrival. Didn’t share OTP and returned it immediately.
Got the refund - but they deducted Offer Processing Fee (₹169 + GST= ₹199) + Shipping (₹19).
Customer care says these fees are non-refundable even when the product is defective and rejected at the doorstep.
If the product doesn’t work and I never accept delivery, why am I still paying for it?

Westside should feel lucky to have customers who still choose to shop with them.
After 3–4 washes, some of their clothes are barely fit for mopping and dusting anyway.
Pulling a cheap stunt like this is disappointing from a brand of this size.
