MONDAY LIVE: The Dallas Cowboys ended up with a win for once as they division rival the Philadelphia Eagles by a couple of scores. The much maligned Dallas Defense even made some nice plays including this INT by DB Overshown.

MONDAY LIVE: The Chiefs have had a solid, stable year thus far as a team but lost to Seattle in a surprising blowout. I think any team should look at this game as a way to handle Kansas City should they make it to the post season.

MONDAY LIVE: Controversial calls, The Lions celebrating a penalty and a ref throwing a flag in the air while lying on the ground. The Lions/ Packers game seemed to have it all. It ultimately came down to Detroit winning by FG over Green Bay in a close contest.

MONDAY LIVE: Bo Nix had the best QB TD run I've seen this year thus far as the Broncos beat Arizona this past Sunday. I wonder what Ryan Fitzpatrick has to say about that...

MONDAY LIVE: Chicago beat New England is a much hyped match up between Caleb Williams and Drake Maye that ended up being a good, tight game. The late field goal by Chicago helped seal their victory obviously to the relief of some on the field.

MONDAY LIVE: The Steelers under Aaron Rogers seem to be turning into a comeback team as they score late in the 4th and win in overtime over the Buccaneers. This offense now seems to be ready to handle whats thrown at them.

This just in: Jim Nantz is now on Injured Reserve...

MONDAY LIVE: The Rams remain prisoners of the media hype and bally hoo that placed them in the Super Bowl. This year has not been super. They now fall to the Arizona Cardinals, not a first rate squad, and are racking up losses as opposed to win. There is no joy in LA

MONDAY LIVE: Now Dallas offense is slipping into mediocrity as they fall to Green Bay by 10 points. The normally reliable Dak Prescott had a couple of uncharacteristic turnovers in this game as the Packers were able to best the slipping Cowboys.

MONDAY LIVE: The Raiders lose a close contest to the Bills. They did bounce back score and performance wise after being hammered by the Patriots the previous week but I guess its hard to beat Buffalo when Josh Allen can make passes like this.

MONDAY LIVE: The other "You got to be kidding me" moment occurred in the Giants/ Washington game which went to overtime. I guess the Commanders were trying to burn off the clock to prevent the Giants from getting the ball back but its overtime and all you need is a FG...forget it

MONDAY LIVE: If the Ravens last second win in Brazil was the seven second solution, the Jaguars win in the UK was the eight second solution. This was one of a couple of "You have got to be kidding me" moments as Jaguars cane back to win a close gane to the Eagles.

MONDAY LIVE: Mike McCarthy appears to be making a difference as a coach game by game thus far in Pittsburgh. What began in the first two weeks as a rather lackluster offensive unit with missed completions and a poor OL is now becoming effective as the Steelers beat the Colts.

MONDAY LIVE: The Packers in what has been a disastrous season for them thus far finally got a win over their hated historical rival the Chicago Bears by scoring over 30 points to their 7. This team is still terrible but their offense actually put together a terrific outing here.

MONDAY LIVE: Week 5 was an odd week in a season with odd, unexpected wrinkles. Two of those wrinkles are that the Cleveland Browns had a bit of a win streak and the NY Jets are actually a decent team. The Jets who have come close often thus far finally won another close game.

MONDAY LIVE: The 49ers / Seahawks yesterday is what I call an In Season Playoff Game- a regular season contest that is played like a playoff game. Multiple sacks, turnovers, touchdowns on both sides. This game had everything including a Ceedee Lamb type day for Mike Evans.

MONDAY LIVE: Dallas wins by 4 points over the winless Texans in a back and forth slugfest. Shockingly Ceedee Lamb basically torched the Texans defense by getting 17 receptions and over 170 yards, easily one of the dominant performances by a wide receiver this year.

MONDAY LIVE: A tough, close loss by the Raiders by division rivals Chiefs. The Raiders remain one of the biggest surprises of the NFL season thus far with 3 wins. This AFC West is going to be a hard fought division this year.

MONDAY LIVE: The Giants offense finally returned as they scored a couple of touchdowns and the defense had yet another late 4th quarter Interception to beat the Cardinals by over 30 points. Frankly the Giants are more lucky than good- decent schedule, timely defensive moves.

MONDAY LIVE: For all the swearing on the field, Aaron Rogers brought back the Steelers from a deficit against the supposedly newly competent Browns. Unfortunately it wasnt enough as the Browns kicked a field goal and later intercepted Rogers to win a close content.
