Nitro v0.18 will ship with #visualization primitives based on Leland Wilkinson's Grammar of Graphics. Unlike charting libs, these are fairly low level (but not as low level as D3), and offer precise control over layout and styling to aesthetically match the page design/branding.

Shipping in Nitro v0.16: Locale-sensitive string formatting. Unlike #Python f-strings, Nitro's format strings tailor numbers, dates and lists to the locale. For example, 123456.789 will show up as 123,456.789 in the US, 123,456.789 in Germany, and 1,23,456.789 in India.
